Dogs available for adoption 02/12/13

Sox:  What a transformation this beautiful dog has made in foster!  She does very well indoors and is enjoying the attention of humans.  She could make herself right at home with you.  She might do best with a more mature household or one with older children.  The perfect dog for an empty nest-er who has time to devote to a wonderful dog who has been with us for 12 months.  It is her time to go find her forever home.

BAGGER: A fine specimen, would be a great dog on a farm, he is very vocal if confined but happy as a clam if he is able to roam with a toy. He loves his toys.

STRAY'S PRAYER

God, please send me somebody who'll care!
I'm tired of running, I'm sick with despair.
My body is aching, it's so racked with pain,
and dear God I pray, as I run in the rain.
That someone will love me and give me a home,
a warm cozy bed and a big juicy bone.

My last owner tied me all day in the yard
Sometimes with no water, and god that was hard.
So I chewed my leash, and God I ran away.
To rummage in garbage and live as a stray.
But now God, I'm tired and hungry and cold,
and I'm so afraid that I'll never grow old.

We are so pleased with our website which was designed by Webbering DDH of Headland.  Luke Douglas, Website Consultant, created and designed it for us gratis.  He continues to tweak the site and suggest things to us that will make it more attractive and user friendly.  The site has been a tremendous help in promoting our mission and getting us the exposure that we need.  Luke is also responsible for designing our logo.
